The Popular Hotpot Cou Cou parent company opens first Xiabu Xiabu restaurant in Singapore at Lazada One on 25th Jan 2023.

Xiabu Xiabu refers to an individual hot pot in the Hokkien language which originated from the word ‘Shabu Shabu’ in Japanese. Xiabu Xiabu was founded in Beijing in 1998 and listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2014 by a Taiwanese Entrepreneur with a new Bar Style of Hot Pot concept.

For more than 20 years the main focus of the business is to use the best ingredients for the brand and to emphasize on the freshest ingredients in the market to make up the soup base for Xiabu diners.

When the group opens its first outlet in Singapore, they launch the brand Cou Cou which means gathering together. After opening three Cou Cou in Singapore, they will open their first Xiabu Xiabu concept store at the Lazada One building which is in the city center, right next to Bras Brasah MRT
