Experience the best of Taiwanese hotpot and bubble tea at Coucou! Founded in 2016, the restaurant has quickly gained popularity with over 200 outlets spanning Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. They have been dubbed as “celebrity hot pot restaurant”, and for good reasons.

They have opened the third outlet at i12Katong, after the Jewel and Suntec City outlets.

Choose from six delicious soup bases, including Taiwan Style Spicy, Fish with Sichuan Pickles, Coconut Chicken, Sichuan Style Spicy Soup Base, Bovine Bone with Tomato Soup Base and Fresh Mushroom Soup Base.

New Soup Base:
Stewed Pork Tripe and Chicken Soup Base

And, of course, you have to try their bubble tea, served in a supersized mug loaded with heaps of pearls, starting at just S$3.60.

We recently visited the i12Katong outlet and try their New Set Lunch Menu, served with Appetizer, Braised Egg, Spicy Tofu, and Vegetables with minced pork sauce.
There are 4 types to choose from

1-Tomato Beef Noodles $20
2-Taiwan Style Noodles with Soy Sauce (with Beef) $26
3-Sichuan Style Fish Noodles with pickles $18
4-Taiwanese Style Braised Minced Pork With Golden Crispy Pork and Rice $16

Unfortunately, the Tomato Beef Noodles were sold out, but we did have the chance to try the other three options.

The Taiwan Style Noodles with Soy Sauce (with Beef) were a standout dish. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the soy sauce added the perfect balance of savory and salty. The noodles were cooked perfectly al-dente and the dish was well-balanced and very satisfying.

The Sichuan Style Fish Noodles with pickles were also a tasty dish. The fish was fresh and the pickles added a nice tangy contrast to the spicy broth. The noodles were cooked well and overall it was a well-rounded dish.

The Taiwanese Style Braised Minced Pork With Golden Crispy Pork and Rice was a great dish. The braised pork was rich and flavorful, and the crispy pork added a nice texture contrast. The rice was cooked perfectly, and it was a great comfort food.

In conclusion, the New Set Lunch Menu at i12Katong is a great option for those looking for a satisfying and delicious meal. With four options to choose from, there’s something for everyone. The Taiwan Style Noodles with Soy Sauce (with Beef) and Sichuan Style Fish Noodles with pickles were particularly noteworthy. We highly recommend giving it a try.
