La Fête means ‘Celebration’ and at the La Fete Wine, Bistro & Bar, you can celebrate every occasion with their delicious menu. Nestled in the heart of Telok Ayer Street, La Fête is a charming and cosy Wine Bistro where the passionate team constantly strives to create amazing and unforgettable experiences. Be spoilt with delectable French fare as they source seasonal ingredients from all around the world, and be transported to vineyards all over France and other regions through their carefully curated wine labels. In fact, the extensive wine list is their strength and the team can recommend one that pairs well with your orders.
Starting with the Snack Menu, we recommend you try:
White Anchovy Toast Rye Bread $12 (Asian Pesto | Gochugaru)
Scotch Egg Crabmeat $16 (Horseradish Cream)
We recommend pairing these with a glass of their house Champagne Henri Giraud, Esprit Nature NV $24
For Entree, try the
Spanish Octopus Leg Romesco $30 (Chickpea | Gremolata)
These octopus legs don’t come easy as Chef have to source for it, and he is very selective about it.
We enjoyed this very much as it is not chewy and the texture is just right.
Recommendation for pairing Chablis Domaine Raoul Gautherin 2018 Chardonnay $20
From the Main, Seafood, we selected the
Blue Swimmer Crabmeat Pasta Linguine $32 (Crustacean Jus | Ikura)
This is their signature dish and very popular.
For some veggies:
Burnt Brussels Honey $15 (Hazelnut)
For meats, we selected:
Iberico Pork Presa Soubise $38 (Shallot | Sumac)
Soft, juicy texture, with the right doneness.
Perfect to pair it with :
Chateau Castera Medoc Cru Bourgeois 2008 Bordeaux Blend $20
Bourgogne Rouge, Domaine Joseph Pascal 2020- Pinot Noir $20
For Dessert: you have to try their
Burnt Cheese Cake $16
They are open for lunch as well and you can enjoy their lunch set menu.
The restaurant is nicely decorated with a private room at the back too. Highly recommended for an enjoyable dining experience with reasonable pricing as well as wine pairing.
