One Farrer Hotel Chinese New Year Promotion


Teeming with decadent ingredients for prosperity, One Farrer Hotel’s selection of Lunar New Year goodies are perfect for auspicious festivities. Toss to good fortune with the hotel’s Signature Yu Sheng (from $98) featuring a striking tiger design. New items to order this year include a splendid HakkaStyle Braised Pork Belly ($58) and Traditional Radish Cakes ($48) steamed to luscious perfection. Best selling favourites such as the Bountiful Treasures Poon Choi ($308) also make a return. An assortment of these dishes will be available as part of a festive Takeaway Set Menu ($218) that is suitable for up to 6 diners and served in a stylish “money pouch” bag.

Whether they are served at home or presented as gifts, spread the joy with the hotel’s collection of sweet treats. From Homemade Pineapple Tarts ($20) to Pumpkin Nut Bars ($22), there is something to suit every taste. Festive treats will be available for online orders from 27 Dec 2021 to 4 Feb 2022.
Early bird orders placed by 16 Jan 2022 will be entitled to a 25% discount.

Over at the Nest at One Farrer, a private dining experience fit for an emperor has been prepared on 31 Jan 2022. The Nest’s 6-course Lunar New Year Set Menu ($168) starts with a tossing of the Prosperity Yu Sheng with king salmon slices and crispy fish skin crisps. Steamed Chilean Seabass and succulent Mongolian Pork Ribs headline the meal. The meal is completed with a refreshing serving of Double Boiled Bird’s Nest with Chilled Japanese Pear. Additionally, diners will receive complimentary festive goodie bags worth $30 for every 2 set menus ordered.
Served in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom on 31 Jan 2022, Escape’s Reunion Dinner ($88) likewise comprises of 6 opulent courses. After kicking off festivities with the traditional Lohei, a nourishing broth of fresh crab meat, sea whelk, fish maw and conpoy is served. Diners will then tuck into intricately prepared Peking-Style Stewed Chicken in Lotus Leaf served with Quail Eggs. Proceeding into the main course proper, diners will be treated to Steamed Fresh Seabass topped with chef’s specialty Puning-Style Preserved Yellow Bean Sauce. Finally, hearty bowls of traditional Teochew-Style Yam Paste are served as a sweet finish. Early bird bookings made before 9 Jan 2022 will receive 20% off total bill.
