This holiday season, ION Orchard invites shoppers and visitors to experience magical, one-of-a-kind festive moments at the mall. As the year draws to a close, ION Orchard is set to kick off Christmas celebrations by transforming the mall into a magical Christmas wonderland. Capturing the spirit of Christmas with a touch of elegance and sophistication, the mall has been beautifully decorated with hand-crafted sparkling frosted baubles of champagne gold, red and pearl white with warm fairy lights that exudes a traditional warm, yet lavish Christmas vibe.

The highlight of the season’s celebrations is made complete with a spectacular outdoor installation by Chanel and an impressive line-up of dazzling mall events by Fendi, VIVA Foundation and Singapore BrickFest. Shoppers can also look forward to the mall’s festive deals to round up the year.

Gifting to those who in need

In the spirit of positivity and joy, ION Orchard partnered Bynd Artisan and SG Enable to support SPD (Serving People with Disabilities), a local charity which helps people with disabilities of all ages to maximise their potential and integrate them into mainstream society.

ION Orchard specially commissioned holiday brooches to be worn by staff including Concierges and ION Officers. Apprentices from SPD were guided by artisans from Bynd Artisan to assemble these handcrafted Christmas-themed leather brooches.

This commissioned project by ION Orchard contributed to the running of the SPD Artisan Collab programme, which provides vocational training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.

“The i’mable Collective works to develop a community of artists and makers with disabilities to showcase their talents. We thank ION Orchard for giving the apprentices at SPD the opportunity of co-creating a brooch with our partner Bynd Artisan for ION Orchard’s employees. This is a wonderful example of how the strong and generous support of corporates and partners can enable the Collective to empower our artists and makers with disabilities. CHANEL N°5 Holiday Takeover at ION Orchard

To celebrate N°5 and its one hundred years of celebrity, CHANEL will have a holiday takeover at ION Orchard with an installation at ION2 – the outdoor space at the entrance of ION Orchard. This will be the tallest CHANEL Holiday illuminated installation in the world standing at 18m high. A visually stunning multisensory spectacle for shoppers and visitors to interact with, including taking in the iconic scent of N°5 L’EAU. The CHANEL Holiday installation will feature a light animation that will happen daily at 8pm ,9pm and 10pm.

N°5 has sparked wonder for over 100 years and the marvel continues with this CHANEL Holiday illuminated installation. In this N°5 chapter, CHANEL chose to reach for the moon. More than a simple piece of decor, the moon is a character in its own right. Combined with the holiday spirit, it invites to reverie, by marrying the real with the imaginary. The expression “to ask for the moon” is to evoke the impossible. But with N°5, everything becomes possible.
