Dee Tongue Thai by Rung Mama have been serving authentic Thai home-cooked food since the 1980’s. Started off as Udonthani to Sakhon and to Dee Tongue Thai, all situated within Golden Mile Complex throughout the years, Rung Mama’s children decided to pursue and expand the culinary skills of their mother and hence, Dee Tongue Thai was opened. Dee Tongue Thai served an array of recipes using home-made sauces, marinades and chillies that leads each dish to its unique taste. They bring about an array of Thai delicacies to the heart of Singapore. We tried their authentic Thai food and feel like we are in Bangkok City.

From the Grill menu we selected the GRILLED PORK WITH HOMEMADE SAUCE. You get delicious and juicy pork that is drilled and served with their special sauce. This is often the popular item on authentic Thai restaurant.

Next we have the GRILLED CHICKEN DRUMSTICK, wrapped in silver foil to keep the warm, it is still juicy with a bit of charred skin to show that it is perfectly grilled. Another of our favorite to go with some rice.

DEEP FRIED FISH WITH SPICY MANGO SALAD: This is a must try here and the price is good too. Plus they are offering a promotion now. A few type of serving and we tried the most popular Spicy Mango salad on top of this fish.

STIR FRIED KAILAN LEAVES WITH CRISPY PORK: Plenty of crispy pork included in the stir fried Kailan. We liked that it has some gravy and not too dry, perfect to go with some rice

TOM YUM PRAWNS: Another must try item here. We love the large prawns and de-shelled. So easy to eat and so tasty. The soup is the thicker type and gives a punch if you drink too quickly. Which is a good thing. Nobody likes a plain Tom Yum. Go for this!

STIR FRIED RICE NOODLES WITH CHICKEN / PORK / PRAWNS: You can order this and select chicken , pork or Prawns. I think prawns is their specialty so we go for it and it never disappoint.
