Founded in 1986, Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood Restaurant started as small single stall for several years before taking the form of a zi char stall. Through good food and word of mouth, the stall expanded into the whole coffeeshop. Its famous savory dishes of chilli crab, black pepper crab, har cheong gai and birthday noodles have delighted families for more than 30 years, and spread the word of it being a hidden gem in Upper Thomson.

Recently we tried their famous Chilli Crab and Butter Crab. Indeed they have the largest crab in any zi char stall in Singapore, usually such large crab are reserved for large restaurant group but you can enjoy them here at very reasonable price. We also tried the Drunken Herbal Prawn soup with vermicelli and Fried Yam Ring, both are also fabulous in the quality and ingredients. All these delicious dishes good to go with some fried Bee Tai Mak. Not only they serve great value restaurant food, they now have a contest for you to win some $600 vouchers.
