Grain Alley @ Orchard Central serves ALL DAY BRUNCH and Mediterranean Comfort Food. It is open 8AM-1AM DAILY and located at Orchard Central #01-10, 181 Orchard Road, Singapore 238896

Looking at the interior, this would likely fit into many instagrammers’ and café hoppers dreams, with its contemporary décor, white marble tables, green plants and natural daylight.

They have recently launched a new menu and yes you could still enjoy all the wonderful coffee and brunch items via delivery platform or takeaway.

We tried the following last Sunday morning and it was an enjoyable trip collecting the items from the store.

Big Bratwurst Brunch Platter with Sourdough $23.

Mildly spicy handmade pepper pork bratwurst, cherry tomatoes on vine, fresh house salad with dressing at side, whole portobello mushrooms, reduced apples, purple cabbage, cranberries, rosemary baked beans & sous vied scrambled eggs flowing on warm sourdough. Quite a big portion and an energy boost for weekdays and weekends.

Croque Monsieur $11

A croque monsieur is a hot sandwich made with ham and cheese. The dish originated in French cafés and bars as a quick snack. The name is based on the verb croquer and the word monsieur.

Beef Lasagne $9

An Italian dish made of stacked layers of this flat pasta alternating with fillings such as ragù (ground meats and tomato sauce) and other vegetables, cheese and seasonings.

France-imported Croissant $3

Croissants made of a layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is layered with butter, rolled and folded several times in succession, then rolled into a sheet, in a technique called laminating. The process results in a layered, flaky texture, similar to a puff pastry. I would come here just for this because it is not easy to find a place that serve good Croissant, and the price is good too.

Blueberry Muffin $4 ,Chocolate Ganache Muffin $4, Double Chocolate Cake $7, Matcha Latte $7, La Dolce Vitaccino $9.

Overall the food served here is of good quality and we totally enjoyed the pastries and coffee too. We can’t wait for the CB period to be over we would come back for dine-in. Meanwhile do try out their delivery menu on foodpanda and Deliveroo.
