Cugini in Singapore is a Italian trattoria-style restaurant on Club Street

Cugini in Singapore is a trattoria-style restaurant on Club Street that is serving up some fantastic and authentic Italian dishes.

Traditional Italian Cuisine at its finest

The first collaboration between Executive Chef Mauro Muroni and General Manager Gerri Sottile, Cugini is a popular dining destination on bustling Club Street serving traditional Italian gastronomy in a trattoria setting.

Inspired by heartwarming, comfort food, Mauro brings together authentic, handmade Italian flavours in a modern way.

Though Cugini serves mainly Southern Italian cuisine, expect also a variety of famous Italian dishes such as Carpaccio, Carbonara, Amatriciana and an array of handmade Ravioli, using Italian imported ingredients.

Keep a look out for the Cugini Specials which are inspired by the Chef and let the charm of Cugini ignite your love for Italy.

It’s not easy to pick favourites but we can wholeheartedly recommend the following dishes which we have tried.
Pizza: mozzarella, cream sun dried tomatoes and shaved bottarga, this is a customized pizza recommended by Gerri, and it taste great.
(This is not in the menu as customer can customize their own pizza)
The important point to note is the dough (light and fragrant dough has a mix of 7 stone-ground flours, indirect dough with preferment biga,  cold matured for over 70 hours, high hydration over 70%)
The second pizza not yet in the menu (should be in few weeks time) name La Fragrante which will be with seasonal ingredients.  The dough as you saw is very different, more crunchy and very light. Again this is nothing you have tasted before here because this is just started to get popular in Italy.
RAVIOLO AL TARTUFO
black winter truffle & potato, Parmesan,
walnuts, truffle butter sauce (V)
I must say the pasta here is of very high standard, it is handmade every day at the restaurant using Italian ingredients.
RIB-EYE STEAK (250g)
200 days grass fed Australian Angus,
grilled to your choice
TIRAMISU 15.00
Mascarpone, eggs, cocoa sponge cake, coffee, marsala
Space at Cugini is limited, so bookings are essential at this Club Street restaurant in Singapore.

  1. One of the very best Italian restaurants I’ve dined in, and this rating includes Italian restaurants throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the US. The owners are warm guys, their staff well trained and their food, while not cheap, is absolutely worth the money!
