From 10 – 19 May 2024, Heineken® invites consumers to step inside the Maltiverse and be transported to unexpectedly refreshing dimensions of food, art and music, each brought to life by Heineken®’s incredible premium quality Pure Malt!

Take a seat at the Maltiverse Chef’s Table – Embark on a culinary adventure with Heineken® and Chef Stefan Kam, Chef de Cuisine of GOHO, by The Proper Concepts Collective. An internationally renowned chef, he is known for blending Dutch and Asian culinary roots with expertise honed at some of the world’s finest Michelin-starred restaurants, including Alchemist, and Liberije.

At the chef table experience, Chef Stefan will present a range of dishes where the essence of Pure Malt elevates the flavour, texture, and aromas to new heights with this curated menu:

Malt Sphere – Representing an endless realm of taste experiences awaiting discovery in the Maltiverse. Experience the essence of cold, refreshing Pure Malt, crafted into an edible sphere with vibrant Yuzu notes for a zesty first taste.
Maltiverse Doughnut – Infusing the fermentative power of pure malt into the art of baking, this dish presents a harmonious fusion of Pure Malt’s robust, earthy notes with succulent pieces of pulled pork, marinated in Heineken® beer. The Maltiverse Doughnut is topped off with a sauce rooted in Pure Malt that enriches the sweetness and tenderness of the pulled pork, crowned with a layer of puffed and toasted malt for a satisfying crisp texture.
Infinity Malt Duck – Paying homage to Chef Stefan’s cherished memories of Amsterdam, the Infinity Malt Duck features a slow-smoked crispy duck brined in Pure Malt, enriched with Pure Malt & Duck glaze, and topped with Malt-seasoned puffed mix on the skin. With a novel take on the classic risotto, this innovative dish is served alongside barley, spinach, and sundried tomatoes.
5D Malt Gelato – End your culinary journey on a sweet note with the 5D Malt Gelato that showcases Pure Malt in all its glory. Inspired by Heineken®’s “Malting” technique, this dessert features five different textures including the aroma of Pure Malt smoke, a mix of crunchy malt crumble, creamy toasted oats and barley gelato, rich malt salted caramel, and airy puffed malt mix.

Step Into Refreshing New Realms of Art

With one sip of Heineken®, you’ll be transported to new dimensions through an interactive portal. This art installation created by art collective Metamo Industries—who specialise in digital art and interactive media—will allow you to explore and interact with each refreshing world using your Pure Malt avatar, corresponding to the Heineken® of your choice (Original, Silver and 0.0).

Our Pure Malt-powered music maker extracts real sounds from malt, transforming them into unique beats for your tracks and discover how each ingredient contributes its magic to crafting a perfectly balanced Heineken®.

Learn To Be the next Heineken® Draught Master

Master the art of the perfect pour with our Draught Masters who will teach you how to pour the perfect pint to seal in the flavour for that refreshing first sip. Take on the Star Pour challenge to earn a place on the leaderboard and be rewarded with exclusive Heineken® swag!

Additional Activities

From appreciating the natural golden hues to the perfect balanced taste, consumers will learn more about the role of Pure Malt in Heineken® at the First Ahhh! Experience pop-up. This experience takes inspiration from the Heineken breweries in Amsterdam, where consumers can take on the role of an Ahhh! producer, undertaking checks, tests, sampling and ultimately create their own first Ahhh! Moment as they get rewarded with a complimentary ice-cold Heineken®.

The First Ahhh! Experience will be available from 18 April – 5 May, located outside Mandarin Gallery from 12 to 9pm daily.
