TC Acoustic has unveiled its latest smart speaker lineup, the Sonos Era 300 and Era 100. These next-generation speakers are designed to push the boundaries of sound and design innovation. The Era 300 is a revolutionary speaker that is built to deliver an unparalleled spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos. Meanwhile, the Era 100 is a remastered version of the popular Sonos One.

Both speakers have been tuned by award-winning artists and engineers to provide an immersive listening experience with expanded connectivity and Trueplay™ technology. Additionally, these are the first speakers to be built to Sonos’ new responsible design standards, which include long-term serviceability, energy-efficient technologies, and the use of post-consumer recycled materials.

The Sonos Era 300 is a game-changer in the world of compact speakers, boasting six powerful drivers that direct sound left, right, forward, and upward, delivering a breakthrough audio performance featuring Dolby Atmos. This provides an unmatched spatial audio experience for both listeners and creators alike, placing them at the very heart of their films and music.

Designed specifically for spatial audio, the Era 300 has an elegantly cinched hourglass design that enhances the direction and dispersion of sound to truly surround the listener. The Era 300 is also the first Sonos speaker that delivers multi-channel surround sound when used as home cinema rears. By pairing two speakers with Arc or Beam (Gen 2), movie fans can create a supercharged Dolby Atmos experience that draws them deeper into the action.

Sonos worked closely with its community of leading artists and creators, including Sonos Soundboard members, to meticulously fine-tune Era 300. This ensures that listeners can enjoy sound straight from the studio that is true to the artist’s intent. Spatial audio is the next evolution in listening, creating a sound experience that wraps the listener in music.

The Era 100, on the other hand, features all-new hardware and software, with next-gen acoustics and design that deliver detailed stereo sound and deep bass. Only slightly larger than its predecessor, the Sonos One, the Era 100 has two angled tweeters that send crisp high frequencies left and right for a rich stereo experience. It also has a larger midwoofer that creates stunning bass that is unexpected from a single compact speaker.

Despite being packed full of audio and tech enhancements, Era 100’s slim, modern design makes it a chic accent piece for any bookshelf, kitchen counter, desk, or nightstand. Users can also level up their movie night experience by adding two Era 100 speakers as rears with their soundbar to create a surround sound system. They can also simply pair two together for room-filling stereo sound.

Both Era 300 and Era 100 are built with responsible design in mind. They are made with post-consumer recycled plastic and packaged in 100% sustainably sourced paper. Moreover, they are engineered to reduce power consumption with under two watts idle power consumption and a new advanced sleep function. Both speakers are designed to live in users’ homes for years, with reduced use of adhesives and screws for easy disassembly and repair.

Finally, Era 100 and Era 300 feature an intuitive new user interface, including a new capacitive volume slider for simple control. This complements quick and private control of music with Sonos Voice Control, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth®.
