Audi Singapore has taken the Singapore Motorshow 2023 by storm with their latest showcase, Electric Dreams. This one-of-a-kind creation is a visual masterpiece featuring AI-generated artwork and Audi’s flagship e-tron GT as a canvas. The exhibit will be on display at the event from January 12th to 15th.
Electric Dreams was designed in collaboration with Singapore-based multi-disciplinary artist, Andy Yang. Using multiple layers of AI-generated art transposed on the e-tron GT, the exhibit accentuates the car’s natural shape with bold, dynamic, and organic brush strokes. The artwork was generated using the AI system DALL-E 2 and was then painted using acrylic paint onto a vinyl car wrap. The final touch was applied live at the Singapore Motorshow by artist Andy Yang who added the final brush strokes to the bonnet of the e-tron GT on January 12th.
“Andy and his work embody Audi’s commitment to “Vorsprung durch Technik”, or Progress through Technology,” said Markus Schuster, Managing Director, Audi Singapore. “With Electric Dreams, Audi continues to place a strong emphasis on innovative design, to deliver human-centric products that stimulate all the senses.”
Andy Yang is a multi-disciplinary artist, based in Singapore, known for his abstract visual and sound experimentations. His latest works include Ceremony (2019), produced for the ArtScience Museum and DE:VOTED (2020), an immersive art experience held during the Singapore Art Week 2020.
Electric Dreams, along with other Audi flagship models, including the Audi e-tron Sportback advanced 50 quattro, the Audi A3 Sedan 1.0 TFSI S tronic, the Audi Q3 Sportback 1.5 TFSI S tronic and more, will be available for public viewing at the Audi exhibit as part of the Singapore Motorshow 2023.
