Cedele celebrates Peranakan culture with prawn otah cookie, in Singapore Food Festival. Together with Singapore Tourism Board, Cedele created these special cookies for the event. Handcrafted in the kitchen of Ms. Yeap Cheng Guat, founder of Cedele, the Prawn Otah cookie feature a rich blend of local nyonya spices like chili, lemongrass, shallots, kaffir lime leaf, coconut milk, dried prawns and almond flakes for that extra crunch. We tried some of these cookies and find that the cookie is soft, and packed full with flavors. It is slightly spicy with prominent flavors from prawn and coconut milk.
