Gaijin, a casual two-storey Japanese restaurant in King Albert Park Mall

Gaijin, a casual two-storey Japanese restaurant in King Albert Park Mall, with a menu of “native Japanese approved” Japanese soul food.

Go on a culinary adventure with mascot, Mac-san, through an original manga (Japanese comic) plastered on the restaurant walls as well as its menu of Japanese comfort food.

Expect classics like Gyudon and Tempura Udon presented anew with quality ingredients, such as buttery slices of angus short plate and black tiger prawns, alongside creative new takes on old-school tonkotsu ramen. With a lighter yet robust broth, the Kara Gaijin Tonkotsu Ramen offers up to three levels of spiciness with a homemade chilli paste. Another highlight is the Tori Katsu Curry Don where two styles of Japanese curry are combined, striking a balance between sweet and savory in every bite.

Accentuating the dining experience is a drinks menu of Orion Beer from Okinawa and sakes from Saito, Nanbubijin and more at affordable prices.
