HAND IN HAND PEKING DUCK 手拉手北京烤鸭
If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic and delicious Peking duck, you might want to check out Hand in Hand Peking Duck, a new restaurant that opened at JEM Shopping Mall on May 27th. This is the third outlet of the popular chain that specializes in Old Beijing Hanging Oven Roast Duck, a traditional dish that requires meticulous preparation and skillful carving.

I visited the restaurant with a friend and we ordered the Whole Duck Set 1, which costs $109.80 and enough to serve four people. If you like, you can also order half a duck to share with two person.

The set is very worth it, it includes (3 eat) which is a whole roast duck, duck bone soup with tofu and vermicelli, and salted pepper duck bone. We also added a plate of dumplings with leek, pork and shrimp for $8.80.

The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the roast duck: sliced crispy skin and meat to wrap in thin popiah skin and condiments. The duck skin was crispy and fragrant, while the meat was tender and juicy. The popiah skin were thin and soft, and the condiments included sweet bean sauce, spring onion, cucumber and sugar. We enjoyed wrapping the duck in different ways and savoring the contrast of textures and flavors.

The duck bone soup was also comforting and flavorful, with soft tofu and vermicelli adding some substance. The salted pepper duck bone was a spicy and salty, it was still crunchy and satisfying. The dumplings were plump and tasty, with a generous filling of leek, pork and shrimp. The skin was smooth and chewy, and the vinegar dipping sauce added some tanginess.

Overall, we had a great dining experience at Hand in Hand Peking Duck. The service was attentive and friendly, the ambiance was cosy and elegant, and the food was superb and satisfying. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Peking duck or wants to try something different.
