Eat, play or work at a new space on Arab Street with a bohemian theme.
Crane, a social club that does it all – dining spot, coworking space, homeware retailer, and events hub – opens its new branch at 148 Arab Street Cantina.
Crane’s new space in the street’s line of shophouses is filled with boho-chic decor spread through three narrow stories.
On the ground floor, the Arab Street Cantina serves up Asian and Middle Eastern dishes in an intimate dining area with shelves of the brand’s homewares stacked for sale.
The food follows an Asian farm-to-table concept in which dishes are made with ingredients sourced fresh locally and portions kept just nice to minimize wastage, “keep it real without compromising on flavor.”
Their specialties include the
Red Curry Prawn Conchiglie ($22) made with locally sourced prawns, grilled greens, herb salad, peanuts and charred lime and comes served with conchiglie pasta.
Roasted Pesto Barramundi with Mediterranean Brown Rice $24
Locall farmed Barramundi, seasonal herb pesto, local mushrooms.
From the sides we ordered
Roasted Pumpkin and Garlic Hummus, Home-made warm Pitas $12
Lebanese Sweet Potato Fries $10
For desserts we ordered
Dark Chocolate and Tahini Molten Cake $8
Warm Bread & Butter Pudding with Coconut Caramel $6
For drinks we ordered
Sunshine Chai Latte $5
Tumeric, Chai Spice, Milk
Cafe Latter $4.50
All the dishes we could taste the natural ingredients that goes into producing it. That’s why farm-to-table is catching on where you sourced locally and served to the table without preservative or cold storage.
Even the coffee here is so special, we would come back for our coffee fix anytime, especially they are at very attractive prices.
