Located in the heart of the Central Business District, newly opened Ya Ge 雅阁 is offering their new value set menu, a new ‘Taste of Ya Ge’ menu featuring a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes in one seating. A short three-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT station, this is a prime dining venue with a family and friends-friendly set menu from 11 July to 30 September 2022. The epicurean menu spans eight courses for four to five persons at $268++ (U.P $360++), making it perfect for casual get-togethers and gourmet occasions as well as for business meals.
Leading the new restaurant’s culinary team is Executive Chef Tse Chi Leung who is renowned for the creative use of premium seasonal ingredients and traditional Cantonese cooking techniques. Chef Tse comes with 25 years of professional culinary experience, having worked in top hotels and restaurants across Hong Kong, Singapore and Jakarta. These include Imperial Treasure at Marina Bay Sands and Yan Restaurant at Park Hotel Group.
Available daily from 11.30am to 10pm, the menu presents a sublime selection of the restaurant’s stand-out dishes.
Diners can look forward to Chef Tse’s innovative interpretations of beloved Chinese dishes that marry the old and new, which include Chilled Hua Diao Chicken Rolls, Crispy Mini Pumpkin Pastry with Minced Chicken, Mushroom & Thyme, and Steamed Marble Goby with Supreme Soya Sauce.
Other signature dishes include The Roasted Floral Infused Chicken; tender, crisp-skinned chicken infused with the alluring aroma of floral tea for over five hours before being fire-roasted to perfection and garnished with fried tea leaves for a satisfying crunch. The Carrot Cake with Dried Shrimp Paste is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and features
crunchy cubes of steamed carrot cake tossed with fried eggs, bean sprouts, shrimp, minced garlic, shallots and preserved radish. Ya Ge’s famous Sautéed Diced Beef with Black Garlic is another signature dish ideal for sharing among fellow diners; succulent cubes of premium beef that has been delicately wok fried and served with an aromatic black garlic sauce.
Business lunch and dinner sets are priced from $48.80++ per person for two or more persons daily. The lunch menus are available from 11.30am to 2.30pm (last order at 2pm) and the dinner menus are offered from 5.30pm to 10pm (last order at 9pm).
With its elegant décor and calming celadon colour theme inspired by an ancient verse by Emperor Song Huizong from the Song Dynasty, the 150-seater restaurant welcomes guests to a soothing ambience enhanced by warm hospitality and the seasons’ best produce.
